This man started his career with a role in “Yograj Bhat’s” film “Ranga SSLC” along with Sudeep. He then took part in the films like “Jogi”, “Shree”, “Ee Rajeev Gandhi Alla” also in the others. He also acted in different television shows.
The turning point of this man’s career light when his friend “Soori’s” directorial debut film “Duniya”. “Duniya Vijay” was acted as a naive village boy with a pure heart who ends up in the hands of underworld goons who use him as one of the henchman to come through their bad deeds. His performance took him to rave reviews from critics. “Vijay” won the “State and Filmfare awards” for his acting in the film. In the time of 2007, this man appeared in three more films those known with the names of “Yuga”, “Chanda” and “Geleya”. First of all “Yuga” was an action based film on the following of “Duniya”, somehow it was not a box office success. “Vijay” made a supporting role in “Geleya”, when “Prakash Rai” took himself out of the film at the last moment. In the time of 2007, this person came through more news with his film “Chanda”. The film was directed by “S. Narayan”, who had somehow agreed with “Vijay” that he would release the film six weeks after “Yuga”, and thats why there would be no clash. For a unknown reason the director did not keep his promise, by which “Vijay” refused to give his voice for the film. The matter was somehow settled with the assistance of KFCC, who decided to impose year long ban on him. After the intervention of “Karnataka Film Federation” elders, the ban was withdrawn and “Vijay” was eligible to do his normal work for other movies. “Chanda” did a increadible business at the box office and especially at B&C centers. He got the favor from the so-called “masses” for his dare devil fights.
